Audionotes uses state-of-the-art AI to transform your voice recordings, files, images, and YouTube videos into organized, actionable notes. Simply record or upload content, and our AI automatically transcribes, summarizes, and creates structured notes for you.
How do I start recording a note?
Web: Login and click the record button
Mobile: Download the Audionotes app and tap record (Audionotes is available on iOS and Android)
What audio formats and sources does Audionotes support?
We support all major audio formats, including MP3, MP4, M4A, and OGG.
Can I record in languages other than English?

Can I record phone calls using Audionotes?
No, Audionotes does not support in-app call recording. You can record using a different app or service and upload the recording to Audionotes.
Can I integrate Audionotes with other apps?
Yes, Audionotes connects with Notion, Zapier, and supports Webhooks for custom integrations.
How does the Audionotes WhatsApp bot work?
Available for Pro users, send voice notes to our WhatsApp bot and receive transcripts and summaries instantly.
Can I use Audionotes offline?
Yes! You can record offline. Transcripts and summaries will process once you reconnect to the internet.
Why isn't my recording uploading or transcribing?
This is rare but can occur with longer files, poor connectivity, or low battery. Check Files > Audionotes for your recording - all recordings are saved locally unless manually deleted.
Which AI models power Audionotes?
We use state-of-the-art models from OpenAI, Google Gemini, Whisper, Assembly AI, and Deepgram through a sophisticated workflow for optimal transcription and summarization.
How accurate is the transcription?

Why do some YouTube videos not work?
We know it's frustrating when a video doesn't process! Currently, we don't support YouTube Live videos, YouTube Shorts, and certain restricted videos. The good news is we successfully process over 95% of standard YouTube videos. If your video isn't working, it's likely one of these unsupported types.
Does Audionotes work with Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams?
Audionotes doesn't directly integrate with meeting platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. However, here's a simple workaround: use Audionotes on your phone to record the audio from your computer's speakers during the meeting. You'll get the same great transcription and summary of your meeting content.
Are my notes private and secure?
We use the best AI models to achieve state-of-the-art accuracy. Results may vary based on audio quality, background noise, language, and recording conditions. Yes, your notes are private and secure. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Will my data be used to train AI models?
No. We've opted out of AI training with all our providers (OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Google, Assembly AI, and Deepgram) wherever possible.
Can I delete my account and all associated data?
Yes. Navigate to Login > Account Centre > Profile > Delete Account to permanently remove your account and data.
What's included in the free plan?
Unlimited voice notes up to 5 minutes each with full transcription and summary features.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through the App Store, Play Store, or web dashboard based on where you subscribed.
Do you offer refunds?
We encourage trying before purchasing to ensure Audionotes meets your needs. We do not offer refunds once purchases are made.
